Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support Firefox engineering, the full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer will design, build, deploy, and operate software and systems while working remotely from France, focusing on developer tooling, workflow automation, and solving complex operational problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software and systems that support Firefox engineering
- Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, and workflow automation
- Own and resolve complex technical problems across software, cloud, and operational layers
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with C++ or Rust is a plus
- Experience deploying and operating production systems in cloud environments using infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, networking, databases, and observability
- Ability to use data and telemetry to investigate technical issues and inform decisions
- Understanding of modern AI-assisted development tools and their appropriate applications
