Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support Firefox engineering, the full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer will design, build, deploy, and operate software and systems while working remotely from Sweden.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement developer tooling, CI/CD, and workflow automation
- Own and resolve complex technical problems across software, cloud, and operational layers
- Collaborate with various teams to improve system reliability, performance, and observability
Required qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with C++ or Rust is a plus
- Experience deploying and operating production systems in cloud environments using infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, networking, databases, and observability tools
- Ability to use data and telemetry for investigating technical issues and guiding decisions
- Understanding of modern AI-assisted development tools and their application
