Job Summary
To support the Delivery Engineering organization, the full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will own deployment automation for the Data Security Platform, ensuring seamless packaging, installation, and validation in air-gapped environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Own deployment automation processes, including packaging, installation, and validation criteria for customer environments
- Build end-to-end air-gapped delivery paths, ensuring offline bundles and signed artifacts without egress or telemetry
- Collaborate with QA to create a reproducible test fleet and deployment test harness for validating releases across various Kubernetes distributions
Required qualifications:
- Experience shipping software into disconnected environments with no egress or shell access
- Proficiency with Kubernetes across multiple distributions and Helm packaging
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Ability to design and implement automation for deployment processes and telemetry collection
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security architecture and relevant concepts
