Owning the infrastructure and reliability practices for a platform supporting over 9 million users, the full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer will manage and evolve AWS environments, implement security measures, and enhance developer tooling in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring performance and security
- Ship tested tools and services with comprehensive documentation for engineering teams
- Lead incident response efforts and define monitoring standards to improve reliability
Required qualifications
- Strong software engineering skills with experience in production-quality tools or services
- Proven experience in building security into production systems and managing access controls
- Deep expertise in Terraform and AWS services, including EKS and RDS
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and a focus on improving developer velocity
