Staff Smart Contract Engineer

Job Summary

Innovating and building upon the Aave protocol and GHO stablecoin, the full-time remote Staff Smart Contract Engineer will design, implement, and deploy secure Solidity-based smart contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance protocol functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test secure Solidity-based smart contracts and decentralized applications
• Participate in the development of protocol-level infrastructure and tools
• Review code written by other engineers to ensure compliance with security standards and specifications

Required qualifications

• Experience working with DeFi protocols and a deep understanding of smart contracts and the EVM
• Proven track record of shipping production DeFi vaults end to end
• Strong passion for web3 technology and a commitment to high standards of solidity and security
• Ability to stay updated on the latest hacks, tooling, and security practices
• Experience providing technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers
