Job Summary
Motivated by user experience and frontend craftsmanship, the full-time Staff Software Developer will work remotely to lead frontend architecture, simplify complex workflows, and mentor other engineers while collaborating closely with product and design teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build impactful features alongside engineers, PMs, and designers in pairs and trios
- Lead frontend architecture and co-own features from design to implementation
- Mentor engineers and uphold high standards for code quality through review and collaboration
Required qualifications
- Deep experience in building high-quality user interfaces with recent hands-on coding
- Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JS, and browser behavior
- Comfort working directly in Rails views, helpers, and partials
- Experience simplifying complex workflows and working effectively with ambiguity
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years as a staff engineer
