Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with product owners and application developers, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design, code, and maintain high-quality cloud-based applications while providing technical leadership in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud-based applications in a scrum team setting
- Ensure alignment of architecture to user requirements and assist with escalated production issues
- Lead performance optimization efforts, focusing on memory management and algorithm efficiency
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years of experience
- Strong proficiency in low-level programming languages such as C++ or Rust
- Experience with SaaS multitenant database architectures, including RDBMS and noSQL stores
- Deep understanding of SOA, web security architecture, and REST APIs
- Extensive experience writing high-quality unit tests and using source control management repositories
