Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and evolution of secure payment infrastructure, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will architect Python services, define core APIs, and ensure security and reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect Agentic Payment Infrastructure by designing Python 3.13+ and FastAPI services for secure payment flows
- Define the Core API Platform for card enrollment, token provisioning, and transaction processes
- Drive architectural decisions focused on security, scalability, and performance for payment workflows
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems within mission-critical environments
- Advanced proficiency in AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker
- Proficient in Python for automation and operational tools development
- Experience implementing observability tools like Prometheus or OpenTelemetry at scale
