Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a robust financial platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will build and manage the ledger system, oversee money movement processes, and enhance reconciliation automation in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the ledger as a system of record, ensuring immutability and an accurate audit trail
• Implement and manage various money movement rails, including ACH, RTP, and stablecoin settlements
• Develop reconciliation processes to automate matching and resolve discrepancies efficiently

Required qualifications

• Proven experience owning a double-entry ledger in a production environment
• Extensive knowledge of money movement processes, including ACH and wire transactions
• Strong expertise in SQL, relational database design, and experience with Python, Postgres, and AWS
• Experience building AI solutions that enhance financial systems and processes
• Product-owner mindset with a deep understanding of fund flow and customer communication
