Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a senior technical leader, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design and scale critical backend and data systems, ensuring high-quality consumer experiences and secure integrations across platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve end-to-end architecture across frontend, mobile, backend services, and data platforms
- Design and maintain high-performance APIs and build scalable distributed systems supporting millions of users
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through code reviews and technical coaching
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of full stack systems in production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and mobile application development
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and influence technical direction across teams
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and cloud services (AWS)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
