Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer to architect end-to-end platform solutions and lead the integration of AI capabilities in a full-time remote role, focusing on microservices, event-driven architectures, and enhancing developer experience across engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and build end-to-end platform solutions, backend services, and APIs, ensuring maintainability as they scale
- Design and operate microservices and event-driven architectures, evolving them as usage and team count grow
- Own the platform's core APIs and simplify the developer experience through clear documentation and reusable frameworks
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on complex, end-to-end platform solutions
- Strong command of object-oriented programming and design patterns, including DDD and microservices
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, C#, or Python
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating AI-powered features
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture on Azure and/or AWS
