Job Summary
Leading technical initiatives for the Payroll product, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design scalable software solutions, mentor team members, and collaborate across teams to enhance functionality and reliability for restaurant owners.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical initiatives to improve functionality and reliability for customers
- Design solutions that accommodate future needs while considering tradeoffs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust full-stack software applications
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of back-end experience in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages
- Proven track record of leading technically complex, multi-team projects
- Proficient with modern web standards and technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL)
- Experience with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices
- Experience delivering high-quality, reliable services to production
