Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the application surfaces of a live clinical product, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will lead development of an embeddable widget, clinician portal, and Python service layer while collaborating with AI engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the AI plumbing that supports the AI Intake system, ensuring seamless data flow and integration
- Drive full-stack architectural decisions and manage internal tooling to support team and clinician needs
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee major integration initiatives, ensuring high-quality application design and implementation
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional full-stack web software experience, including 1 year at a Staff level
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience in a modern server-rendered framework like Next.js
- Strong Python experience with async web frameworks and relational schema design
- Experience building versioned dependencies for other teams, such as widgets or SDKs
- Fluency with LLM application development to collaborate effectively with data scientists
