Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the technical development of a new AI-focused initiative in oncology, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will transform complex problems into working products, collaborating with clinical and operational teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a major initiative from discovery and prototyping through to production launch and sustained delivery
- Partner with clinical leaders to translate care-decision workflows into executable system logic
- Own architecture and development across web interfaces, APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Experience building and supporting complex software products from inception to production
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks like Vue.js and back-end technologies such as Python and FastAPI
- Experience designing APIs and working with relational databases, particularly Postgres
- Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically AWS
- Experience in leveraging AI tools for rapid prototyping and production deployment
