Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support Rula's Provider Growth, Acquisition & Supply Management team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design robust systems and deliver software solutions that enhance the provider experience in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive initiatives to improve how providers find, onboard, and manage their practices on the platform
- Shape technical strategy and influence multiple teams while bringing order to ambiguity
- Foster a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with scalable distributed systems
- Strong full-stack experience in building and maintaining production web applications
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives and influencing technical direction
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools
- A passion for mentoring junior engineers and enhancing engineering practices
