Job Summary
Driving the technical strategy for the advertising platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will lead architecture and system design for advertising capabilities, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the technical strategy for the advertising platform, focusing on scalability and reliability
- Provide technical leadership on advertising technologies, including video ads and programmatic advertising
- Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions across teams to enhance advertising systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on complex systems
- Experience in architecting and delivering advertising technology systems or integrations
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and system performance
- Experience with live or streaming video systems and connected TV advertising preferred
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, Redis, and PostgreSQL is preferred
