Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Staff Software Engineer focused on full-stack development who will set the technical direction for Member Growth's systems, manage architecture evolution across teams, and drive high-leverage problem-solving in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Set technical direction and own the architecture evolution for Member Growth's systems across multiple pods
- Identify and prioritize high-leverage problems and opportunities, presenting proposals with clear recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on shared systems, ensuring effective communication and consensus-building
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience building and operating high-traffic, customer-facing systems with technical leadership
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, relational database design, and systems reasoning
- Fluency in system and cloud-level technologies, including eventing and workflow orchestration
- Proficient in AWS services and capable of making informed tradeoffs between different data storage solutions
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-team alignment and elevate the technical capabilities of peers
