Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning complex technical challenges, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will build features for web and mobile applications, design APIs, and integrate AI capabilities while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop features for web and mobile apps using React, React Native, and Expo, while designing APIs and data models with Node.js and Postgres
- Implement AI features to enhance the reach of expert oncologists and optimize the development process with agent-assisted tools
- Collaborate with product and design teams to address technical trade-offs and ensure quality through testing and observability practices
Required qualifications
- Extensive full-stack experience managing complex systems end to end
- Background in a startup or high-growth environment with a proactive approach to undefined paths
- Experience in developing and shipping AI features to real users
- Proficiency in using coding agents and understanding their impact on production
- Strong focus on user problems and a commitment to detail in regulated environments
