Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To drive platform modernization and mentor junior engineers, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design, build, and operate enterprise-scale data platforms within the Enterprise Data Warehouse, focusing on scalability, performance, and analytical correctness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software while achieving results under challenging circumstances
- Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready and facilitate agile processes
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and support product and engineering teams by addressing questions and suggesting productivity enhancements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend data engineering or analytics platform engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery
- Advanced SQL expertise and strong working knowledge of Python
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade data models, including curated/ADS datasets
- Experience with CI/CD and orchestration frameworks, including Jenkins and Airflow
