Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the SOC platform, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will provide technical leadership, develop high-quality software, and design analyst-facing interfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across the SOC Experience, focusing on investigation, triage, remediation, and reporting
- Lead the development of software designs and architecture, ensuring high-quality code and testing standards
- Design and build interactive, data-dense analyst-facing interfaces, collaborating closely with UX for optimal usability and performance
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience developing complex software products
- 5+ years of programming experience in Ruby on Rails
- Strong front-end fundamentals, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in modern component-based frameworks
- Experience with AWS or other public cloud environments and Linux-based infrastructure
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres
