Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Combining deep technical ownership with systems thinking, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer in FinTech will build and operate a complex Revenue Lifecycle Management platform, developing capabilities for subscription and usage-based consumption models while ensuring financial accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, build, and operate a technically complex FinTech system, driving specifications, architecture, and production operations
• Apply domain expertise to optimize revenue lifecycle processes, ensuring seamless integration of product information, pricing, orders, and financial transactions
• Mentor engineers and enhance their judgment regarding architecture and production risk while implementing financial controls and auditability

Required Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in two or three areas of FinTech, such as Product Information Management, Configure, Pricing, Quote, or Order to Cash
• Proven ability to build and operate production systems with a focus on subscription lifecycle management and usage-based consumption
• Experience implementing financial controls and auditable workflows in collaboration with Finance and Compliance teams
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and their application in engineering decisions
• Ability to document technical specifications clearly for cross-team consumption
