Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the technical vision for test automation and quality architecture, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will lead the development of resilient frameworks across cloud and mobile systems while mentoring a diverse team and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks while managing the technical direction for quality across platforms
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to define and influence test strategy and automation approaches
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, best practices, and skill development, while analyzing quality metrics for engineering leadership
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in senior engineering roles with a focus on automation testing and framework building
- Expertise in modern automation tools, including Playwright (TypeScript) and Maestro (YAML)
- Strong understanding of black and white box testing, API integration, and system validation
- Experience with AI-driven automation approaches and architecture
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, XRay, Confluence, Claude, and GitHub
