Job Summary
To drive technical direction and influence cross-team initiatives, the remote full-time Staff Software Engineer will lead AI-driven development, set standards for AI-generated code, and manage complex projects while focusing on backend technologies like .NET and SQL Server.
Key responsibilities
- Own technical direction and architecture decisions across teams, mentoring engineers beyond your squad
- Lead AI-driven development by building and maintaining skills and agents to enhance coding efficiency
- Drive ambiguous projects to completion by defining plans and tradeoffs, ensuring high-quality output
Required qualifications
- Expertise in .NET (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API) and SQL Server with a strong backend development background
- Experience in AI development processes, including building and maintaining coding agents for real codebases
- Proven track record of operating production-grade systems and raising team performance standards
- Strong Git workflow familiarity, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews
- Experience with designing API architectures and handling complex system challenges
