Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the architecture and technical direction of policy and workflow services, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design access policies, ensure correct access management, and mentor engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of the team's policy, authorization, and workflow services
- Design and evolve the definition, evaluation, and enforcement of access policies
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and operational readiness while mentoring engineers
Required qualifications
- Typically 8 or more years of experience building production backend systems
- Strong skills in C# and .NET
- Experience with distributed, event-driven microservices and messaging technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Ability to lead technical decisions and navigate complex problems with limited direction
