Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development of infrastructure for testing and shipping safely, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will focus on CI/CD, AI-assisted testing, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance engineering standards and practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure to support CI/CD, ephemeral environments, and AI-assisted testing for safe engineering practices
- Establish benchmarks for feature-complete test coverage and evaluate testing practices with product teams
- Provide technical leadership across platform and product teams, influencing testing and shipping processes
Required qualifications
- Experience in developer infrastructure, test automation, or platform engineering with a record of leading technical work across teams
- Strong knowledge of AWS, infrastructure as code (Terraform), containers (Docker or Kubernetes), and Postgres
- Proven experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines and automated test coverage for engineering organizations
- Deep experience with Playwright or equivalent for automated tests and CI across web, iOS, and Android
- Production experience with coding agents and LLM tooling for test generation or verification
