Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of cutting-edge AI applications, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will set the technical direction for the AI Gateway, focusing on core systems, infrastructure improvements, and mentoring engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for core systems powering the AI Gateway, ensuring scalability and architectural integrity
- Identify and address gaps in infrastructure and tooling to prevent blockers, driving solutions from concept to production
- Mentor engineers and elevate the technical standards through code and design reviews
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record in production-grade systems
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and API design
- Experience building secure, high-throughput services such as gateways and policy engines
- Proficiency in Go and/or Rust programming languages
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
