Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving execution on key initiatives, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will manage the development of new products and modernization of existing platforms while working remotely with a team of senior engineers to enhance software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of major initiatives, translating roadmap priorities into actionable plans and maintaining visibility of progress and risks
• Delegate clear ownership across the team by breaking initiatives into well-scoped work, ensuring delivery is not reliant on any one individual
• Design and build an AI-native delivery system, utilizing AI-assisted tools to increase development velocity while maintaining quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing complex initiatives
• Proven track record of delivering complex software products through effective planning, risk management, and commitment to timelines
• Strong hands-on engineering background in production systems such as web applications and data-intensive backend services
• Experience building and improving delivery practices, including agile planning and CI/CD processes
