Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Full-stack Staff Software Engineer for a remote, full-time position who will lead the technical architecture and implementation of the Beyond Fuel and Expense Management platform, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable payment solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of full-stack capabilities, including user interfaces and backend services
- Translate product requirements into technical designs and establish engineering practices
- Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions while ensuring production readiness and security
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of professional software engineering experience, including product development from concept to production
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot or comparable backend technologies
- Experience designing REST APIs and working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Hands-on experience with automated CI/CD pipelines and secure API design
