Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support infrastructure planning and cost management, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and deliver reliable data products, including pipelines and models, while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction and define a roadmap for scalable infrastructure data products
- Design, build, and operate production ingestion and transformation pipelines for infrastructure usage and cost
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition to rollout, enhancing data product quality and operational monitoring
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience in designing and operating production data systems at scale
- Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL, with a focus on maintainable code
- Deep experience with large-scale ETL, data modeling, and workflow orchestration
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects across teams and mentor other engineers
