Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Evaluating the quality of interactions with AI coding agents, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will assess AI-generated coding outputs and provide feedback on their effectiveness and alignment with strong engineering judgment in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end, assessing usefulness and correctness
- Provide clear, opinionated feedback on response quality and reasoning
- Help define best practices for interactions with AI tools like Cursor
Required qualifications
- Staff/Principal-level engineer or equivalent experience
- Strong background in Go, Python, Rust, or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to evaluate code without executing or deeply reviewing every line
