Job Summary
Owning the delivery of motion planning features, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design, implement, test, and evaluate components for autonomous trucks, working remotely or from Pittsburgh, PA.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver motion planning features from design to integration, ensuring safe and smooth trajectories for autonomous systems
- Shape long-term architecture and roadmap while collaborating with systems engineers for timely feature delivery
- Write high-performance software in modern C++ and Python, and work with various Autonomy teams to deploy robust solutions
Required qualifications:
- Strong C++ and Python skills, especially in resource-constrained environments
- Experience developing code for real-world robotics or semi-autonomous platforms
- Eagerness to work across the decision-making stack, including unfamiliar components
