Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading technical direction for the 340BCheck team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design multi-domain solutions and make critical architectural decisions while working remotely to enhance healthcare data products.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction and design work across front-end, back-end, data, CI/CD, and infrastructure
- Own critical architectural decisions and guide the team on architectural choices for applications built on React, Typescript, Python, and FastAPI
- Elevate the team's technical ability and execution, focusing on cross-team collaboration and dependency management
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack expertise
- Strong understanding of relational database systems, particularly MySQL, with experience in designing for scale
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and managing production services end-to-end
- Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions across multiple teams
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and fostering technical judgment in others
