Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the technical direction of core data acquisition platform capabilities, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and develop high-performance data ingestion services while working remotely and guiding cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain data acquisition pipelines integrating various internal and third-party systems
- Lead the design and delivery of a modular ingestion platform with reusable connectors and configuration-driven onboarding
- Establish automated testing and CI/CD practices for ingestion code and infrastructure, ensuring production readiness
Required qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; M.Sc. preferred
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with production distributed systems or data platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages
- Experience with data integration and ingestion pipelines, focusing on reliability and transformation
- Demonstrated experience in designing and operating production integrations that manage schema evolution and failure recovery
