Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time Staff Software Engineer on the AI Core Platform team, the successful candidate will build and operate shared infrastructure for secure and reliable access to foundation models, focusing on model gateways, cloud AI services, and observability while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop scalable and performant solutions for AI model access
- Shape product strategy and execution by working across disciplines
- Mentor and coach engineers while upholding high engineering standards
Required qualifications:
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of production-level experience in building highly scalable systems
- 4+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
- Experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets
- Proficiency in architecting and deploying large-scale distributed systems
