Job Summary
As a key member of the Orders POS Team, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design and implement new features, enhance architecture and tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient processing of over 1 billion order changes weekly for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of significant capabilities on the Orders platform across multiple teams
- Collaborate with Design, Product, QA, and engineering members to develop robust and scalable software
- Drive architectural decisions and mentor team members to uphold best coding practices and improve overall engineering quality
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Object Oriented Languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Proven track record of delivering platform capabilities in large engineering organizations
- Expertise in mobile and backend development focused on distributed systems at high scale
- Deep understanding of automated testing, quality, and SDLC best practices
- Experience with modern API technologies, including schema design and versioning
