Seeking a full-time Staff Software Engineer in Data Platform Engineering, this remote position will drive large cross-team initiatives, enhance data architecture, and build robust data pipelines while collaborating with product, AI, and infrastructure teams.

- Lead cross-team engineering initiatives from inception to production, ensuring architectural alignment and effective communication
- Design and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies and distributed systems
- Advocate for best practices in data governance, privacy, and security while enhancing monitoring systems for improved visibility
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with extensive expertise in SQL, data analysis, and data modeling
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud environments, particularly with major providers like AWS
- Experience with data processing technologies such as Spark or Flink
- Proficiency in coding (Python or similar) and familiarity with infrastructure as code solutions like Terraform
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical projects and facilitate decisions across teams
