Job Summary
Leading the design, development, and maintenance of the LIMS application, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will serve as a primary technical lead, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and make key design decisions in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and translate requirements into reliable applications in Java
- Make key design and technical implementation decisions while collaborating with the engineering team
- Integrate enterprise systems to create seamless business processes and improve development practices
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in computer science or a comparable program
- 10+ years of software development experience, particularly with complex data or process management applications
- 10+ years of experience in object-oriented programming in Java, preferably with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
- 10+ years of experience with web services, XML/JSON, and relational databases such as Oracle
- 10+ years of experience implementing and configuring LabVantage LIMS
