Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers in a remote environment, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will develop, test, deploy, and maintain software while contributing to product design and guiding junior engineers in modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software with a focus on delivering value and achieving results
- Collaborates with the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready and facilitates agile processes
- Provides guidance to junior engineers and fields questions from product and engineering teams to enhance team productivity
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant software engineering experience, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment
- Strong backend development experience with Java, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives while coordinating the work of engineers
