Job Summary
As a full-time Staff Software Engineer on the Guides & Surveys team, the successful candidate will design and manage back-end services that store user progress, guides, and survey data, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product solutions remotely from Bogot , Colombia.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the back-end service for user progress and survey data, leading strategic initiatives across teams
- Clarify product vision, create design documentation, and coordinate project delivery plans in Jira
- Mentor engineers, enhance code review processes, and contribute to company-wide initiatives and AI-driven features
Required qualifications
- Experience designing, building, and operating complex back-end systems in production, preferably in PHP or Go
- Proven ability to write technical design documentation and lead architectural decisions
- Experience with front-end development in JavaScript, ideally using React
- Fluency in English for collaboration with US-based teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
