Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of comprehensive features, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will focus on developing scalable 3D geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS platform, while mentoring junior engineers and driving projects to successful conclusions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full-stack design and implementation of features, including React frontend and C# backend services
- Develop scalable 3D geospatial solutions and optimize spatial data workflows using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
- Own quality assurance through comprehensive testing approaches and triage complicated failures for resolution
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, including 3D development
- Strong understanding of backend systems and microservice architectures using C#, Python, or Node.js
- Front-end experience with React, including designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Solid experience with major cloud platforms and relational databases
