Job Summary
Leading the development of the Real World Evidence engine, the remote Staff Software Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable backend software while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data and enhance product development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and operation of maintainable and scalable backend software
- Build system and data integrations to connect data from commercial products with analytical platforms
- Partner with teams to translate product requirements into technical strategies and execute incremental improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a lead developer
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with distributed systems using Infrastructure as Code on public cloud platforms, preferably Azure or Google Cloud
- Expertise in developing and operating containerized software using Docker and Kubernetes
