Job Summary
Setting the technical direction for AI engineering, the full-time Staff Software Engineer - AI will work remotely to design AI capabilities, manage complex client engagements, and drive the transition from prototypes to production-ready products.
Key responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for AI engineering, including agent architecture and evaluation methodologies
- Design the AI platform layer and oversee the development of shared frameworks and evaluation infrastructure
- Lead complex client engagements, ensuring production quality and generalizing capabilities for all customers
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Professional experience with Python and building AI/LLM-powered systems in production
- Track record of designing technical systems that support other engineers
- Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
