Staff Software Engineer (Android)
Job Summary
Leading the development of advertising for a next-generation Android app, the full-time Staff Software Engineer (Android) will architect a scalable ad platform, deliver engaging ad experiences, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and evolve TeamSnap's Android ad platform as a reusable and well-tested layer for the app
- Deliver display, native, and video ad experiences that integrate seamlessly with the product
- Partner with various teams to define the roadmap and measure revenue and engagement impact
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience building and shipping Kotlin Android apps at scale, with technical leadership at the Staff level or equivalent
- Deep hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager on Android, including native custom formats and ad lifecycle management
- Experience with ad verification and measurement tools such as DoubleVerify or IAS
- Strong knowledge of modern Android development tools like Jetpack Compose and Coroutines/Flow
- A proven track record of designing systems from scratch and leading them through launch across teams
