Job Summary
To support the development of innovative healthcare solutions, the full-time Staff Software Engineer, Rust will design, build, and optimize the Burrow query engine, ensuring high performance and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize Burrow's distributed query execution, indexing, and storage layers for customer-facing APIs and applications
- Lead initiatives to scale query interfaces for AI-driven traffic, maintaining low latency and high reliability
- Collaborate with various teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable, production-grade solutions
Required qualifications
- Experience writing high-performance systems code in Rust or similar languages
- Deep knowledge of analytical engines, including query planning, execution, and serving patterns
- Proven ability to design complex data models and system architectures for high-volume data environments
