Staff Software Engineer, Security
Job Summary
Driving key architectural initiatives, the full-time Staff Software Engineer, Security will lead technical vision for security engineering, manage customer identity systems, and support secure AI infrastructure in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical decisions for the security engineering team, implementing customer identity management and observability systems
- Manage and enhance existing security micro-services and frameworks by identifying gaps and incorporating emerging standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish internal security standards across a micro-service architecture
Required qualifications
- Several years of experience in software development and leading technical analysis and design
- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS or Google Cloud, and tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with identity management platforms like Auth0, Okta, or Microsoft Entra
- Proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks
- Experience developing and securing distributed, event-based systems at scale
