Staff Software Engineer - SRE
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Staff Software Engineer - SRE in a remote capacity, the role focuses on infrastructure automation, operational resilience, and toil elimination across hybrid cloud and data center operations, requiring hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters in hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Implement closed-loop auto-remediation systems to enhance incident response and reduce operational toil
- Contribute to the design and evolution of SRE tooling, including monitoring platforms and incident management systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering or infrastructure operations, with at least 3 years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud platform engineering roles
- Solid hands-on experience with production Kubernetes clusters and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with automated remediation and alert systems, as well as participating in on-call environments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
