Staff Software Engineer (TS/SCI)
Job Summary
As a full-time Staff Software Engineer (TS/SCI) on the OIG (Federal) team, the candidate will design, build, and maintain backend services and frontend interfaces for government customers, ensuring secure, scalable access while adhering to high-compliance security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure across high-compliance security baselines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure software deployments meet stringent governmental security standards
- Proactively identify and prioritize technical debt, driving improvements in CI/CD, observability, and reliability
Required qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically with enterprise cloud software
- Hands-on expertise in coding with Java, Python, or TypeScript, as well as API and UI automation
- Experience with CI/CD, containers, and a major cloud platform
- Proven experience in defining scalable backend architectures and integrating complex APIs
