Staff Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Owning the strategy and execution of a multi-year portfolio of data platform modernization programs, the full-time Staff Technical Program Manager will lead complex cross-functional initiatives, mentor team members, and utilize AI to enhance program management processes, all while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the execution of data platform modernization programs, including ingestion and table format migrations
• Define and oversee metrics, governance, and reporting mechanisms for engineering and finance stakeholders
• Influence senior leadership with recommendations on technical tradeoffs and drive consensus across organizations

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager leading complex, cross-functional technical programs
• Advanced understanding of large-scale data platforms and streaming systems
• Proven ability to define program metrics and drive investment decisions using data
• Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Flink) and open table formats (Iceberg) is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
