Job Summary
Supporting the accuracy and integrity of statutory financial reporting, the full-time remote STAT Financial Reporting Analyst will analyze and prepare complex statutory financial statements, regulatory filings, and supporting schedules while ensuring compliance with statutory accounting principles and NAIC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and reviews complex quarterly and annual Statutory NAIC financial statements and regulatory filings
- Participates in the accounting close, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Conducts financial analysis by legal entity and researches complex reporting issues related to statutory accounting principles
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis with statutory reporting experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of statutory accounting principles and NAIC reporting requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research complex reporting matters
- Effective collaboration skills and adaptability to meet reporting deadlines
