Job Summary
To advance business objectives, the full-time State Government Affairs Director will develop and execute integrated advocacy and stakeholder strategies, while managing relationships with key policymakers and representing the company before legislative bodies, operating in a hybrid or onsite capacity in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute state government affairs strategies aligned with business priorities
- Build and maintain relationships with governors, legislators, and other stakeholders to advance interests
- Serve as the principal advisor on legislative, regulatory, and political developments, translating risks and opportunities into actionable strategies
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking
- A minimum of 10 years of public policy and/or government advocacy experience
- Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship
